Ethnobotanical Insights: Qualitative Analysis of Medicinal Plants in Colón Putumayo for Traditional Knowledge Preservation

The ancestral knowledge of the community Colón Putumayo unfolds in several dimensions that allow us to recognise ethnomedicinal properties plants. research focused on systematising ethnobotanical and use plants as alternatives for treating illnesses. A cross-sectional study was carried out through semi-structured questionnaires 100 inhabitants Colón. We found 38 plant species catalogued 18 botanical families where 10 medicinal were prioritised by treatment value (UV) evaluation showed Chamaemelum nobile equals 0.18 compared Cymbopogon citratus Lippia alba with 0.04. Informant Consensus Factor (ICF) cited categories equivalent 1.00 are six types ailments, however, can treat 16 ailments. Fidelity Level (LF) identified four used one type ailment while three alleviate local is linked ancestry territory, culture, family farming practices.
